About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Thousands skateparks that were built in the next years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
