The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
